In a saturated entertainment industry, Tora’s bright smile and authenticity sets her apart from the rest and her motto is ‘hard work and consistency always pays off’. An aphorism synonymous with the media professional, who is best known for her work as a radio presenter with 96.9 Cool FM Lagos and 99.3 Nigeria Info FM Lagos. She is popularly known as a TV presenter for M-NET and for her exciting YouTube channel ToraTV Online.

Tora is a trained English language lecturer and experienced youth mentor, with a mission to educate and inform the youth using media, entertainment and the arts. Tora often credits her growth and success to the individuals who took the time to nurture and support her talents as a young person and proposes to do the same for the next generation with her youth advocacy initiative ‘The Youth Club NG’.

With her mantra ‘live, learn and love life to the fullest’, Tora is dubbed by her peers as the ‘Lifestyle Queen’ because of her fun-loving personality and adventurous nature. Tora has a flair for fashion & beauty and a passion for the arts and fine dining industries.



Tora was born and raised in the UK as the last-born of 5 children. She grew up in the countrysides of East England, Cambridgeshire where she attended Duxford Primary School. She was a bright student, who thrived in a number of extra curriculum activities including swimming, ballet, horse riding and gymnastics to name a few.

At the age of 11, Tora moved to London where she completed her primary education and went on to secondary education at La Retraite Roman Catholic Girls’ School. With an opportunity to advance to further education earlier than her peers, Tora went on to study at South Thames College in London, UK at the tender age of 15. During this time Tora gained a diploma in Music Technology. She was the college prefect for the performing arts department and was part of the organizing committee for the South Thames Collage end of year show, which was were she had her first real presenting experience as the official MC.

Whilst studying for her diploma, Tora was signed to international recording label BMG. They signed her first ever studio recording and she went on to write and record with a number of top artistes and producers in the UK music scene. Her passion for music and entertainment quickly turned her attention to music publishing where she developed a keen interest in the business aspects of the music industry. She landed a coveted internship with a music publishing and management company (Big Life) under the mentorship of A&R executive Paul Kennedy and the late British music manager Jazz Summers.

Inspired by her time with Big Life, Tora went on to attain a degree in Music Business Management & Marketing from Buckinghamshire and Chiltern University in High Wycombe, UK. With music production and performance not being enough, Tora decided to expand her skills into TV and radio. She went on to train in the field and acquired qualifications in TV and radio production from City of Westminster College in London, UK.

Whilst receiving her formal education and training in media and entertainment, Tora was very active within the youth development sector. She was awarded the Prince’s Trust Millennium Award and received a grant worth thousands of pounds to develop a creative workshop for underprivileged youths. The project was designed to get inner-city London teenagers off the streets and engaged in positive activities which allowed them to express their creativity. The project was a success and inspired Tora to expand her skills into teaching and education. She later went on to qualify as an English Language Lecture and taught in cities across the Middle-East, America and Europe.

After acquiring a wealth of experience in music, entertainment and education. Tora certainly has what it takes to extend her career into media within the African territory to become a name you can trust to bring the most interesting and exhilarating content to screen.


With an entertainment/media company (Toriya Entertainment Limited) under her belt, Tora is the go-to-girl for content development and media consultancy for corporate clients and SME’s as well as individuals. Her company creates content across all platforms and Tora prides herself on spearheading a team who believe in creating content with value. Referred to as ‘Beauty and the Brains’ Tora has consulted for a number of brands and institutions in Nigeria as well as in the UK. She frequently hosts social events and corporate affairs in Nigeria and across Africa, as well as internationally.
